Changed Rotors but new problem arised
I changed my rotors yesterday but kept the pads on as my mechanic goes your pads are still good for few months but after changing them a new sound has arised….. it is very squeaky but when i press on brakes it slows down and goes away by the time i stop my car......i read somewhere on maxima.org that i need to apply some kind of lubricant to some part when changing brakes cuz i did not apply no lubricant as I was unaware of that...can someone please specify what could this problem be and where to apply lubricant....

+1. Not only that, but they would have taken on the form of your old rotors. Can't just slap them on. The pads need to be resurfaced and cleaned.

What the hell? New rotors should always be replaced with new pads!!! I don't know why your mechanic would not take advantage of this recommended opportunity to make more money.
Did you watch him do the job? Here are some things to check and/or have him do:
- Simple procedure you can try is to push back your rotor backing plate a bit...it might be rubbing a bit against the rotors, because during a brake job, virtually all mechanics rest the caliper on the backing plate, which may cause it to bend in a little and make noise when the car rolls.
- When he did the brake job and removed the brake rotors, he should have cleaned and grinded the wheel hub (where the rotors sit on), grease wheel hub with antiseize compound, cleaned and lube the brake pad bracket, as well as clean and lubricate the slider pins. Have him re-do it, but with new pads.
