Sprint Booster

Post by knight_yyz on Sun Jul 06, 2008 8:20 pm

Hey guys, I haven't really pushed too hard about this here because I keep getting faked out by the TMEC site being up soon. Seems like no one like to post here, which is a shame because MM has done a great job keeping this going so we can all stay in touch. But I digress...

I can't remember who was interested in buying one of the sprint boosters. I had tried to start a group deal going which would drop the price from 329.99 CDN down to 279.99 per person assuming we get at least 5 people to sign up. Price does not include tax. If there are 6 or more the price will go even lower.

So if you are still interested please resign your name here.

For those of you who don't know what this is, it is a throttle remap which will work for any fly by wire throttle body on a 02 or 03 Maxima, 02+ G35/G37, I35, 350Z, Pathfinder, X-trail, and a few others I may have missed. Sorry no altima or 04 + maxima due to different pinout... YET!

For the record, you don't have to have a nissan vehicle for this. It is made for most fly by wire cars, including but not limited to mercedes, bmw, dodge chrysler and most other manufacturers. So it you don't have a throttle cable, and want the throttle to be without lag the spring booster is probably available for your car. Let me know what car you have and I will check availability.

Basically this little unit eliminates throttle lag. When you hit the gas pedal the car goes, there is zero hesitation. It helps the autos shift crisper, and makes it much easier to heel toe drive because you do not have to press the accelerator pedal as far during normal driving, making it easier to rev match. there is a version for auto and for 6mt. This has been tested and proven by a few people in here, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm hoping that if there is a group deal it will happen by the end of the month, assuming everyone can gather the cash by then
