And How was your Drive Today

Post by Ghost on Fri Dec 19, 2008 7:03 pm

This morning the roads where in pretty good shape but as the day progressed they got just terrible, I left work (up by the airport) around 12:30 and finally arrive home in Burlington at 3:00 the main roads were a mess. The side streets in Burlington had not been touched so in some area's the snow was knee deep people stuck everywhere. Sure hope everyone has been driving safely and arrives home in one piece.

It was pretty nasty out there. I saw a couple of 18 wheelers stranded that couldn't make it up the steeper hills. It wasn't a lot of fun. I sat pretty much parked on one stretch of road that I normally am on for no more than 5 minutes and was stuck on it for 30.
At least the ski resorts are happy.
