Anyone Know Mr Rooks?

Since TMEC collapsed, I lost touch with him... If anyone knows him or his e-mail please let me know... He wanted to buy a K&N filter from me and we lost touch in middle of the transaction

don't bother. that guy owes me money still and even stood me up when he was supposed to meet to pay me.

Yeah I'm surprised too. He was very active pre-TMEC crash with his 'Question of the Day' threads and stuff. Seemed like a good guy. Maybe it's best to let him tell his side of the story. I'm sure he'll be back once he figures out TMEC is back on line.

igzy ... pretty sure you can PM him on the TMEC site as I am believe I saw his comments in the shout box, so he knows the site is back-up and running.

Those were some weird questions he used to ask, but I learned to never sell anything if the buyer does not have money in hand. I had a guy I sold something to who knew he had to pay, but didn't have the cash on the day we met for the exchange, so lesson learned; I would never do a tab.

He is a nice guy. I got to meet him and talk to him. has a clean blue 02 Max. I'm not saying he's a bad guy. I just think he keeps forgetting or whatever. I just learnt my lesson when dealing with money with ppl on here. I was too overtrusting when it came to tmec members, went out of my way and got burned. Lesson learned. Not saying he's a bad guy. Cause I dont think he is. Just a heads up when exchanging money for product.

for the record (I think he deserves this) I sold some items to knight_yyz without immediate payment and he came through..very respectable and trustworthy

In terms of mr rooks, he was interested in a few items I had for sale but was never consistent, although he may have had truly valid reasons.
