Actually, from what I have read, the tein coilovers are a better ride than even the illuminas with eibachs. Coilovers should be fine, but as with any car, slamming to the lowest ride possible is going to be painful in the butt and the wallet.

Does anyone know if S-Techs will make a noticeable difference on how low my drop is. There drop rate is F2.2 and R1.8 and I'm on Megans which are F1.8 and R1.6 I'm just wondering if there would be a difference. Thanks

and ps. if your dropping more than 2 inches, i hope you have some good struts, just something to think about OEM replacements won't cut it when going that low

You'll regret the s-techs in about a year with our roads. Yes they're stiff, but they're actually one of the worst handling springs, there's a reason why it says "Dress up Master" on the box lol. You'll also blow your balljoints sooner, and they mess with your LCAs with the limited suspension travel they have.

I think Tein SS are the best coilovers for the Maxima right now, K-sports are also decent.

s-techs are pretty harsh ride. then again anything dropped over 2" probably feels like you have no springs.

BC coilovers are getting good reviews, but they have not been around very long, so time will tell if they blow easily(not Boss Chen's, but BC)

I've read tons of good stuff about the teins, just don;t use the pillowball mounts, seems to cause problems with the maxima.

+1 for Tein SS Coilovers.

Pretty sure JIC coilovers are good too but they are more expensive.

The only thing i dont like about gtamaxima is that "Latest topic" window has topics scrolling non stop until u actualy point a cursor on a certain topic. MM should have a fixed "latest topic" window with all the topics available for viewing

There are a few lip kits out there for the i30/i35 aren't there? Adding a kit will shave some ground clearance and you'll look lower lol.

Knight the BC you're posting about is Buddy Club. I've also heard tons of good things about them, but they haven't been out too long.

I'm in the market for coilovers for my tsx but the dollar is not helping. I'm just going to save a bit and probably head to the states sometime in the summer, get everything installed in buffalo or something.
