I just went and I'm getting the same message as before.

You have to re-register when you get there. A few guys have registered already (MM, Will, kingruckus, drummerboi, etc)

We are moving server and making a fresh start! Unfortunately, the several hack attempts over the years and repairs upon repairs have left TMEC's database in critical condition.
After much thought (and sleepless nights trying to repair to no end), I believe it's best to just wipe the slate clean and start over. The move has begun. Stay tuned. We'll be back shortly!

My cache is clean, and I'm getting the same message from IE and Firefox. I'll have to check again later.

YEs try later, I am on IE and no problem.

Strange that you cleared your cache but still getting the message. The only way you could even get that old message has to be cache related, because the 'Site down' page doesn't exist anymore.

I was able to register (thanks MM), but I can't get much further. Maybe my work is caching items in the proxy server, but I don't see how. WIERD.

I had a little trouble with the new site at first too, seems there were posts but I couldn't find them. Took a few tries but everything seems to be working for me now

Got to love the addition of workforbeers.com to gain access to the site... surprising it works.
